Garage Sale

We just got done with our first ever garage sale. I passed out flyers to the whole neighborhood to see if anyone else wanted to have one the same day and we ended up with 8 families having sales today. It was awesome! We had so many people and sold so much stuff that was just taking up space.

The older kids also set up a refreshment stand to raise money for charity. I bought soda and juice, made muffins and rice krispy treats, Jenny made muffins, Paula made brownies and we sold nearly all of the food, some beverages. We made $76 to go to the Denver Children's Advocacy Center. It was great!

I really should've taken pictures of all the craziness but I just wasn't thinking about it. Keeping track of Ethan was a tough job....everyone trying to sell their toys and he just wanted to play with them all!

All in all, it was a success and what we didn't sell we are donating to Goodwill or some other organization that comes around with trucks for donations.
